If your designated spot has been taken by another vehicle: 

  • If your spot is taken during ParqEx office hours (8am-6pm, M-F):
    • Call ParqEx customer support to be reassigned to another open space or receive a refund
      • Please capture the information of the vehicle parked in your designated spot
    • Send an email to support@parqex.com,  along with the information of the violator vehicle in your spot.
      • NOTE: ParqEx WILL NOT take any action without the information of the violator vehicle

  • If your spot is taken outside of ParqEx office hours:
    • Search the ParqEx app to see if there is another open spot at the same property

      • If another spot is available, park there and send an email to support@parqex.com to inform us of the spot you parked in, along with the information of the vehicle in your designated spot. This will protect you against tickets/tows

      • If another spot at the same property is NOT available, request a refund by sending an email to support@parqex.com, along with the information of the vehicle in your designated spot.  Seek an alternate arrangement, either through the ParqEx app or outside parking provider

    • Alternately, call ParqEx customer support to leave a voicemail on our Emergency Line

      • Voicemail must include your name, the address of your reservation, and the information of the vehicle in your spot. We are unable to assist further without this information

      • Emergency voicemails are delivered to an on-call agent and are prioritized by urgency level. We will return your message as soon as possible

    • Pictures of violator vehicles are encouraged and can be sent to support@parqex.com



If your spot is inaccessible for another reason: 

  • Please follow the steps in the first section of this article under "If your designated spot has been taken by another vehicle." 
  • Instead of information on the violator vehicle, provide information on the blockage (ex, equipment, snow, act of God) in your message.


You may attempt to self-reassign if you're in a large lot.  


For example. The customer below is booked at a ParqEx lot. The spot is taken. 


First, go to your reservation, and then in the corner, you will see the highlighted area below:


Once clicking "Click Here", this dialogue box will appear:



Click the dropdown arrow and choose the spot you are in and put your reason in the box and click "save":



You will then get this confirmation message in the app, and also a confirmation text and/or email, depending on your notification settings.
