How can I manage who uses the spaces in my building?

If you would like for only certain people to be able to reserve parking at your locations, the permissions list feature in the ParqEx web app (app.parqex.com) can help.

After setting up your property, you can manage users that are able to book spaces per property from Manage My Parking in the Owner Dashboard. When clicking into a property’s address, you will see Property Settings & Permissions, which will bring up the Advanced Settings.

You can configure your property to be available either to the public or exclusively for internal tenants. Similarly, you can choose whether renters are allowed to book parking for guests. Additionally, you have the option to set up parking allocation as either assigned (specific spots designated for each renter) or unassigned (first-come, first-served). 

You will add users that you approve to use your property by entering the email address of each user. 

If you have many users to give permission to rent, you may also upload a .xlsx file on the same page. If you are in need of assistance, you may also email a list of tenants to [email protected] - we’d love to help!

It’s important to note that unless Renting open to the public is unchecked, users outside of your permission list will be able to book parking at the property.
