GuestParq is a feature that allows you to make a reservation for a guest, friend, or family member who is visiting you.

Please note: You must be logged into the ParqEx app or website to create a reservation and transfer it.

Does my guest need to pay to use GuestParq? 

Your guest does not need to pay to use GuestParq! GuestParq allows YOU to purchase the reservation for someone else. You simply need to create a reservation as you normally would and then transfer it to them to use for free. For instructions on how to create a reservation, click here.

For information on how to accept a GuestParq transfer via the ParqEx app, please refer to the end of this article.


1. Once you have created a reservation in the app, navigate to the “My Orders” menu in the renter dashboard and click on the order you would like to transfer to a guest to access the Order Details page. 

 

Tip: You may transfer an active or future reservation to a guest.

2. On the Order Details page, underneath the start and end dates of the reservation, there is a button labeled “TRANSFER TO A GUEST.” Click this button to access the GuestParq workflow.

3. On the GuestParq window, you will need to enter the first and last names, phone number, and email address of your guest.

TIP: If your guest already has a ParqEx account, be sure to use the email address associated with that account. If they do not have a ParqEx account, one will be created for them with the email address you provide.





4. If you know your guest’s vehicle information, you may enter it below their personal info, however, it is not required for you to fill this out, as your guest can complete this part later. Once you have transferred the reservation to your guest, the “Order Details” page will be updated to show that you have transferred the reservation to your guest.

 


FOR GUESTS/VISITORS: How to accept a guest transfer (parking pass) via GuestParq

Once the reservation has been transferred to the guest, they will need to accept the transfer by logging into their ParqEx account using the email address that was entered in the GuestParq workflow. Once the guest has logged in to their ParqEx account, they will receive a notice that a reservation has been transferred to them and they will be prompted to accept the transfer.

 

Please note, your guest must accept the transfer via their ParqEx account to be allowed to park in the reserved spot.
Once your guest accepts the transfer, they will be prompted to enter their vehicle information if they have not already done so.
Your guest is now ready to park in your reserved spot!
