Sometimes, you may not be able to find a specific parking spot while searching the ParqEx Marketplace. This article will detail why you might not find the parking spot using the search and what you might be able to do about it.
You do not need to be logged into a ParqEx account to use the search feature, however, some parking spaces require special account permissions to be viewable in the app (ie. HOA and Condo Association Guest Parking spots).
There are a number of reasons for which a parking spot may not be found via the search function. One of the most common reasons that a parking spot might not be showing up in your search is that the date and in/out times of your search may not match the availability of the parking spot.
For example, many parking spaces on ParqEx are only available during certain hours of the day, such as from 9 am to 5 pm, or, may only be available on the weekends or on weekdays. If your search falls outside of this window, the listing will not appear in the results. To check if this is the case, change the date or in/out times of your search and see if the results differ and your desired spot appears in the search.
Another reason your desired parking spot may not be visible in your search results is that the property may no longer be available on the ParqEx Marketplace.
Sometimes, a property owner may opt to remove their parking spaces from the ParqEx Marketplace either temporarily (such as for construction, maintenance, or a private event) or permanently. If you cannot find the parking spot on the Marketplace even after changing the date and time settings of the search, you may reach out to ParqEx Customer Support at support@parqex.com to verify the availability of the property.
Some parking locations may not show up in a search because they are private and only certain user accounts are permitted to create reservations there.
Certain properties such as HOAs and condo buildings may only permit their residents to reserve parking at those locations. Generally, these properties use ParqEx to allow residents to book short-term parking spaces for their guests. If you live at such a property, you will need to be logged in to your ParqEx account and be on the permission list for that property to be able to make a reservation via the Book for a Guest option. If your ParqEx account does not have permission to book guest parking at a given location, you will need to contact your property manager to have them add you to the list so you may book for a guest.
